VAST stands for Variable Attention Stimulus Trait. The term was introduced by Drs. Hallowell and Ratey in their latest book ADHD 2.0.

But according to Merriam- Webster the word vast means:

  • As an adjective: very great in size, amount, degree, intensity, or especially in extent or range
  • As a noun: a boundless space
I like to term because it better describes my clients, who are vastly different from each other and have vast hopes, dreams, and desires.  We all need a little support.

The purpose of the group is to learn who you are, accept all of your strengths and challenges, to learn to build a life that fits you while collecting rituals, routines, and resources so that you can gain self-awareness, accountability, education about ADHD, and develop skills.

Benefits of group coaching include an accountability partner, learning from others in the group, knowing that others struggle with similar issues, being validated by others for strengths and accomplishments, discovering your strengths, hushing the negative self-talk, and many more.

Group members are encouraged to bring a notebook.
