High School ADHD Group Coaching:

High School can be stressful, just like being part of the nebula where there is so much going on at once. Nebulas are the first stage in a star’s life – a protostar. Sort of like being a high schooler.

If the environment is amenable, the protostar becomes a star shine, and so on. There must be support, strength, and balance inside and outside the star. People with ADHD need all those as well, both; also on the inside and outside.

This coaching group is designed for High School students who have been diagnosed with ADHD.

This group has three main focuses:

  • Inside – Who I am
  • Support – Who I am With Others
  • Balance – Who I Am When I Am Learning

During these sections, we will use ADHD education (why do I do what I do and how can I support myself) and Coaching to develop a personalized Operator’s Manual. This manual will become a valuable resource when the group is finished and includes processing modalities, character strengths, performance strengths, values, super satisfying moments, a process for making decisions, boundary settings, strategies for communication, tools for emotional control, strategies for engaging your brain, tools for taming time, and how to set up the right environment for your brain.
